How do I apply to Ek Burapa School?
“Applying to Ek Burapa School is simple. There are two ways: 1. Walk in to our Information Centre at 18 Samwa Road, Minburi. We recommend this path — our team will give you a personal school tour so you can see if EBS is the right fit for your family. 2. Apply online — go to our Admissions page, download the application form, and email it to [email protected]. Our admissions team will contact you shortly after. Seats are limited each year, so early application is advised.”
We recommend applying as early as possible. Due to high demand, our waiting list can extend up to two years in advance — particularly for K.1 and G.1 intakes. The earlier you register your interest, the better your child’s chances of securing a place. Contact our Information Centre at +66(0)2-509-9595 or email [email protected] to join the queue.
Ek Burapa School welcomes students from Kindergarten through to Primary, giving your child the opportunity to grow with us from their very first years of learning all the way through to Grade 6. Our main intakes are K.1 and G.1, however, places at other grade levels are also available depending on availability — contact our admissions team to check current openings.
To get started, all you need is to submit the application form — no documents required at this stage. If your application proceeds, our admissions team will contact you to request any additional information in due course. Simple and straightforward.
“At Ek Burapa, we believe the admissions process should excite your child, not intimidate them. Kindergarten — a play-based, research-backed evaluation that feels more like a fun day at school than a test. This is a big day for both you and us, and our candidates typically return with a positive experience. Primary — a thoughtful, age-appropriate assessment across both character and academic foundations. Parents are also part of our admissions evaluation. We observe family interaction and values to ensure EBS is genuinely the right environment for your child — and that your family is the right fit for our community.”
“Absolutely — and we strongly encourage it. Many families visit us years before their child is ready to enrol, some even from infancy. There is no better way to experience what makes EBS special than walking our 26-rai campus in person. Our admissions team will personally guide you through our facilities, answer every question you have, and help you plan ahead for your child’s future. Book your tour today — call us at +66(0)2-509-9595 or walk in to our Information Centre at 18 Samwa Road, Minburi.”
“Ek Burapa School offers an English Program education at a fee that makes it one of the most accessible quality schools in Bangkok — under ฿140,000 per year, or under ฿70,000 per semester for the 2026 academic year. For context, full international schools in Bangkok typically charge ฿400,000–1,200,000 per year. At EBS, your child receives the same level of English mastery you would expect from an international school graduate — delivered by native English speakers from K.1 — combined with the academic rigour of the Thai National Curriculum. International-school outcomes. EP-level investment.”
“Full international schools in Bangkok can cost ฿400,000–1,200,000 per year. EBS delivers a comparable English learning environment at under ฿140,000 — a fraction of that investment. At EBS, we have always believed that an exceptional education should be within reach: – We intentionally keep our fees accessible while holding our academic standards high – We expose students to native English speakers from K.1 – We employ the the Oxford International Curriculum, one of the most respected and purposeful curriculums in the world – We are founded and managed by management with PhDs in Education from Chulalongkorn University and a graduate from University of Oxford. More English. More rigour. More value.”
Beyond tuition, additional costs may include books and learning materials, van service, lunch, uniform, and activity fees for field trips and camps. We are transparent about all costs — our admissions team is happy to walk you through a full breakdown so there are no surprises.
“No — and we want to be unambiguous about this. EBS does not accept tea money or any unofficial payments of any kind. We have no brokers or agents acting on our behalf, so any third party claiming to facilitate admission to EBS is not affiliated with us. We also do not collect fees disguised as “”school development funds”” or any other informal charges. The only fees during admissions you will ever pay at EBS are the ones our admissions team puts in front of you in writing. Nothing more, nothing less. If anyone approaches you claiming to represent EBS or requesting unofficial payment on our behalf, please contact us directly at +66(0)2-509-9595.”
“Ek Burapa School follows the English Program (EP) curriculum — and takes it further than most. We hold an official partnership with the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC), one of the first schools in Thailand to do so. Developed by Oxford University Press, the publishing arm of the University of Oxford, the OIC builds global skills, wellbeing, and a genuine joy of learning into every lesson — mirroring the British National Curriculum and creating a clear pathway toward IGCSE and A-Levels. This is not just a badge we carry. One of our own management team is a graduate of the University of Oxford, and the OIC is something we believe in from the inside out. Alongside the OIC, we take the Thai National Curriculum seriously — enhancing it so that our students are genuinely competitive, not just compliant. You can see this reflected in our student results and testimonials. Together, these two curricula give your child the strongest possible foundation — whether they continue in a Thai school, move to an international programme, study abroad, or pursue university anywhere in the world. At EBS, every pathway stays open.”
“The Oxford International Curriculum is a globally recognised framework developed by Oxford University Press — the publishing arm of the University of Oxford. It is built around three pillars: Global Skills, Wellbeing, and the Joy of Learning, and mirrors the British National Curriculum to provide a clear pathway toward IGCSE and A-Level qualifications. What sets the OIC apart is how it teaches. Every lesson is designed around inquiry-based and play-based learning — encouraging children to think critically, collaborate, and develop a love of discovery that stays with them long after school. As an official OIC partner, EBS students also gain access to a forward-looking subject offering that most schools simply do not have — including Computing, Sustainability, Wellbeing, and Global Skills Project embedded directly into the timetable. These are not after-school extras. They are part of how we prepare every child for the world they will actually grow up in. One of our management team is a graduate of the University of Oxford — so when we say we believe in this curriculum, we mean it personally.”
“Both are internationally respected British-aligned curricula, but the Oxford International Curriculum has a distinct identity of its own. At the heart of the OIC is the Joy of Learning — a genuine belief that children learn best when they are curious, engaged, and happy. Every lesson is designed around this principle, making the OIC one of the most student-centric curricula available today. This flows into its two core pillars: Global Skills, which builds communication, collaboration, and critical thinking; and Wellbeing, which treats emotional and social development as seriously as academic performance — connecting classroom learning to life beyond school. The result is a child who does not just perform well in school — but carries the habits of a lifelong learner into everything they do. Curiosity, resilience, and the ability to think independently are traits that compound over time. They are also precisely what universities, employers, and the world will demand from the next generation.”
Yes. The OIC is specifically designed as a pathway curriculum. Students who complete Primary at EBS have the academic foundation to enter IGCSE programmes at secondary level, both in Thailand and internationally.
“At EBS, we go well beyond the standard EP timetable. As part of our Oxford International Curriculum partnership, students study: Global Skills Project — project-based learning that develops real-world teamwork, problem-solving, and collaborative thinking Sustainability — understanding and engaging with the world’s most pressing challenges Wellbeing — treated as a serious academic subject, not an afterthought On top of this, EBS introduces subjects we believe every child needs for the 21st century: Artificial Intelligence — building computational thinking and digital literacy from an early age Mandarin Chinese — one of the most valuable languages a young person can learn today These are not extras. They are part of what makes an EBS education genuinely future-ready.”
“At EBS, language is at the core of everything we do. Students learn three languages across their time with us: English — the language of all academic instruction, taught by native English speakers from K.1 Thai — taught throughout, ensuring every student is grounded in their national language and culture Mandarin Chinese — introduced at Primary level, giving students an early advantage in one of the world’s most valuable and widely spoken languages Three languages. One school.”
“At EBS, we believe assessment should serve the child — not the other way around. We use a range of assessment methods designed to capture what truly matters: how a child thinks, creates, collaborates, and grows — not just how they perform on a given day. Where possible, we favour project-based evaluations, observations, and portfolio work over formal examinations, so that learning remains a positive and motivating experience. That said, we take academic readiness seriously. Upper Primary students are assessed through more reflective and structured methods to ensure they are fully prepared for the demands of secondary school — including middle school admissions processes where applicable. We assess what matters, in ways that matter.”
“Ek Burapa School is led by a founding management team with over 20 years of hands-on experience building one of Minburi’s most trusted educational institutions. Our leadership is among the most credentialed in the EP school space in Thailand. The majority of our management team are graduates of Chulalongkorn University — Thailand’s most prestigious university — including multiple PhD holders in Education, with one member having dedicated their entire academic journey to the Faculty of Education from undergraduate through to doctoral level. Our Oxford International Curriculum partnership is also reflected in our own leadership — one of our management team members is a graduate of the University of Oxford, the institution behind the OIC itself. This is not a school run by administrators. It is a school run by educators — people who have spent their entire careers thinking deeply about how children learn, and who show up every day with the experience and conviction to prove it.”
“The overwhelming majority of our teachers are native English speakers, and we hold this as one of our founding principles that shapes every hire we make. This sets us apart from other English Program schools. On rare occasions, we welcome exceptionally talented educators whose subject matter expertise and qualifications speak for themselves — regardless of their background. Because ultimately, what we never compromise on is the quality of teaching in the classroom.”
From the very first day your child sets foot in EBS. English instruction begins at Kindergarten 1 — the moment they walk through our doors, they are immersed in an English-speaking environment led by native teachers. There is no transition period, no gradual introduction. Day one is day one.
“Absolutely — and we do not compromise on this. As an English Program school, mastering both English and Thai is not optional. It is a fundamental expectation of every EBS student. Thai language, Thai culture, and Thai values are woven throughout our curriculum from Kindergarten to Primary. Our students leave EBS genuinely bilingual — confident in English, grounded in Thai.”
“Absolutely. In fact, immersion is exactly how we teach — and young children are remarkably well-suited to it. At EBS, your child does not need to arrive with any English at all. From day one, they are surrounded by the language in every lesson, every interaction, and every activity. Children pick up English naturally in this environment, often faster than parents expect.”
“Yes. Wholeheartedly. International families are one of the most cherished parts of our community. Since our founding, EBS has welcomed families from more than 10 nationalities from around the world, and that diversity is something we are genuinely proud of. A truly international community does not happen by accident. It is built over 20 years of being a school where every family — Thai or otherwise — feels at home.”
“Not at all. We have welcomed families who arrived with no Thai whatsoever, and their children have thrived. Language is never a barrier to joining our community. For students who need it, we offer additional language support to help them settle in and build confidence at their own pace. Before long, most parents are surprised by how quickly their child adapts.”

“EBS is set across a 26-rai campus with over 70% green space — one of the most generous learning environments you will find at an EP school in Bangkok. Our facilities include: – Private golf course with driving range, putting green, and sand bunker – Swimming pool – iPad and AI laboratories – Science laboratory – Broadcasting facilities – Nature trail – Dedicated subject-specific spaces designed around the Oxford International Curriculum Beyond our main Minburi campus, EBS also operates environmental learning campuses in Ayutthaya and Chonburi — where students connect with nature, local communities, and Thailand’s cultural heritage as part of their broader education. It is not just a school. It is a place children genuinely want to be. ”
“EBS students are consistently among the top academic performers in Thailand — and our results back that up. Our O-NET English median score sits above 95%, meaning more than half of our students achieve at least 95% on the national English examination, which we consistently rank at the top nationally. The strength of an EBS education shows in the breadth of where our alumni thrive. Our students have gone on to some of Thailand’s most competitive and hardest-to-enter schools — including Suankularb Wittayalai, Bodindecha, Samsen Wittayalai, and top Satit programmes — as well as leading international schools, top Thai universities, and global universities abroad. Every pathway. At the highest level. That is the EBS standard.”
“Ek Burapa School is not just another EP school in Minburi — it is the original. For over 20 years, we have been the area’s pioneer in English Program education, and everything we have built since reflects that commitment. We offer an overwhelming native English speaking faculty from K.1, an official Oxford International Curriculum partnership, and a management team holding PhDs in Education from Chulalongkorn University and a graduate of the University of Oxford. Our O-NET English median sits above 95%, and our alumni go on to Thailand’s most competitive schools and universities worldwide. And we do all of this within reach of every family. We would love to show you in person — come visit us and see for yourself.”
